Camaro Z/28 Snags Best Driver’s Car Award
The almighty 911 is no more! The lowly Chevy has slayed the accursed dragon that is the “Ultimate Drivers Car”! Rejoice fellow citizens! REJOICE! The Chevy Camaro Z/28 has been officially named the Best Drivers Car by our pals over at MotorTrend!
Yes, after years of European relentlessness, ‘Murica finally triumphed. The Z/28 is just one of those cars that’s completely off its rocker. It’s a mad devil of a car.
With carbon ceramic brakes, Alacantara interior, big bucket seats, a square stance with 305 tires, and a naturally aspirated beast of an engine coupled to a real 6-speed transmission, it’s a wonder how they didn’t just immediately give the award to this car.
The sound of that LS motor alone is worth every single penny. Next week, if I’m to believe some rumors, I’m heading out to the track for a journalist rally and supposedly this car is going to be there.
Supposedly. My fingers, legs, tongue, arms, and eyes are crossed. And if this all comes to fruition, I hope to give my own analysis to you all after, hopefully with some video.
