In 2001 Chevrolet added what was, arguably, one of the coolest factory options for the fourth generation Camaro: the center-mount exhaust system. While some love the unique style and exclusivity of the rare factory option, others feel it makes the otherwise lithe rear-end of the Camaro “too fat.” Over the years, aftermarket companies like 6LE Designs, Hawk’s Third Generation, and others have offered OEM repops and even custom iterations that add a new twist to the timeless CME.
