One of the Best Camaro Builds Ever
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted a build thread article, but it’s just rare that you come across something that’s really special. I want to see something truly unique. Not just another swapped LS into either an old truck, or a 240SX. It’s been done to death and we all know what it looks like and how it’s done.
That’s why I’ve been scouring build pages for the past few weeks looking for something we haven’t seen before and boy did I find one.
This car is from Beach Cruiser who did a spectacular job at building what only can be said is the ultimate late 60’s Camaro.
Now this wasn’t done in a professional garage with thousands of tools. It wasn’t just a paid per parts and labor build where he did none of the work. This entire car, all the modifications, and every single bolt was wrenched on by him at his home, in his garage. And sometimes lawn.
Somehow he didn’t just create another restored Camaro to become another trailer queen, but rather built one of the best setup autocross/track racers around.
I’ve grabbed a bunch of the pics from the build to show you some of the highlights, but seriously go check out the thread. It is unbelievably detailed and explains all the joys and sorrows when building a car to these demanding specifications.
It’s also full of all the custom work he did for this project. It’s probably safe to say that most of this car is completely custom and you will never find another one like it.
