I’m talking about serious beasts like this Pontiac Trans Am WS6. Now this is a real modern Pontiac! While most baby boomers would disagree with such statement, the WS6 featured in this video pumps out a big power, big noise, and big and muscular looks. The LS1 under the hood features 234/240 modified cams, as well as modified heads to tweak compression and maximize power.
Furthermore, the stock exhaust in this Trans Am has been pitched for a less-restrictive aftermarket unit. Because it wouldn’t make any sense not to. Just listen to that beautiful naturally-aspirated American V8! Haters may talk smack about the handling characteristics of these long and heavy beasts, but it’s easy to silence them with a quick stab of the throttle.
In the end, we’re happy to see the next generation of muscle car owners (and lovers) develop a taste for Pontiacs. Especially Trans Ams, and let alone WS6 units!
