RIDE ON! A 2004 Pontiac GTO

LS1 RO 1

Despite the sad fact that Pontiac is now a car manufacturer of the past, we still have quite a few of their high-powered and glorious rides roaming the streets. From old school muscle to the more modern Trans Am and GTO, Pontiac has definitely left their mark on the car industry. Maybe one day we’ll even see GM revitalize and renew the company once again, though that is pure speculation and hope as of right now.

Still, we can look back and easily smile on some of the rides that they gave us, and that’s exactly what we’ll be doing today as we step inside LS1Tech member svede1212‘s garage and take a closer look at his ride that lies within!

Svede1212 is the proud owner of a 2004 Pontiac GTO with a 6.3L LS1 under the hood and an astounding 432 rear-wheel horsepower. Of course, he didn’t accomplish this impressive feat with a stock GTO! In fact, he had done many things to modify his ride to perfection.

As it sits now, the Pontiac has a FlowTech Inductions StreetSweeper HT cam, Comp cam push rods and a Rocker Trunnion upgrade, Lunati dual springs, Lunati link bar lifters, SLP LTs, a custom 2.5″ dual exhaust, ported and milled 243 heads, a FAST 102mm manifold, a Diamond Stage 3 clutch, Koni adjustable shocks, Hotchkis sway bars, and much, much more!

To say that this ride is a wonderful testament to everything Pontiac may still be an understatement, but that’s what we’re going to stay. This ride is fast and proud, and we’re glad to see that it’s been cared for so well! Go stop by svede1212’s garage and leave some comments, browse the photography, and have a great time! Be sure to keep your garage up to date and maybe you’ll be featured next week on RIDE ON!
