Seems like there are more Fbodies than C5s in this range. I mean I can assume thats because there were more Fbodies produced, but I dont see much from the vette crowd.
Anyone else wanna speak on any other mild vettes in the 10s, what it takes to accomplish this, and what the main obstacles are?

IMO, it comes down to how hard you want to work on what you already have rather then just bolt on some more parts to go faster. Its about getting the combination to work as one. I put in many hrs into working out the little details to get my car to this point.

good air, good tune, and some weight reductions, i think da was -700 when i ran first 10 after alot of 11.03, .08 , .14 etc and perfect 11.00000. solution pull passenger power seat 43lbs, next pass 10's. car was being continually tweaked all day at that track rental just kept getting closer then three 10's in a row. just ran a 10.83 n/a last night with new setup in a 2800 to 3000 da hot and humid, first passes on new engine

I was going to tell u about my street car but last time I post it they said I was full of ***** but I will tell u anyway it is a stock ls2 with 2.5 5.3 heads a cheater thunder cam ls6 full boltons 4200 vig 4.10 on motor it has ran 10. 86 at 120 with a 1.45 short time but a small kit on it gone to run next Tuesday night
