Default Can I join the club??

Not an LSx but can I join the club anyway with my stock appearing street car?

I ran it a couple weekends ago and got booted after 1 pass. Here is the stats and vid. I have the slip if I need to scan it and post it I can.

71' Vette
496" pump gas, hyd roller, gm iron oval port heads.
Looks mostly stock, has air conditioning and weighs 3700lbs.
T400, 10" converter, 3.08 gears. On 255/60 MT ET street radials.

60'- 1.63
330'- 4.56
1/8- 7.02@100.22
1/4- 10.99@123.88

Barely a 10 but....it's in there. And on the first pass with no tuning. I want to post it in the 10 sec Sleepers thread also....it's DEF a sleeper. Thanks guys!

Hey Mods, I submitted my request for my 10 Sec club title weeks ago and never got anything back? What's up with that? Is it because it's not lsx?

I will be going back to the track in the fall, this time on skinnies and some tuning, should go 10.70s....that enough to get in??

You have to run low 10's to get into the 10 second club if your running a big block 1971 Corvette. Once you do that then make sure to submitt your paper work according to the rules in the stickies and you should be o.k. Goodluck

Well?

The post above was just a joke. It takes a while sometimes to get your 10 second title bro. Just be patient and I am sure they will get it to as soon as they can. Nice car BTW!!

Hahahaha.... I was like.....damn...low 10s.... Ain't gonna happen on motor....if I went max effort on mine with what I have, I MIGHT could go some 10.60s in good air on a perfect run....that would take skinnies, more gear and maybe some VP113 straight....and even that would be stretching it...

Lol...

Yeah I did turn in the request with info of the run...we'll just wait and see if I get my title...
