Wish I would have seen you run Friday night. I was there in my 98 SS, but it was pretty crowded and the staging lanes were moving slow.

Congrats on the new best times. Car looks really good in the video, very impressive launch. Seems you picked up well with the converter restall.
Just curious what the approx. stall speed and STR rating is on that 3E conv , sounds like its pretty loose in the video ? What gear are you running and whats your raceweight?

I saw your car in the lanes, you have a very clean car! I kinda cheated they said lane 6 was for 10.50 cars so I figured what the heck lets try it. The stall speed is around 4400. This was the first time with it and man it stays in the upper rpm band when you are on it, 5-6700. Not much rpm drop. I am unsure about the str on it, I can ask Chris and see. I am running a 3.75 rear gear, with the 295 55 15s its running through the lights around 6700. I really would like to get the 275 tire which is a little taller to loose some rpm. I am really unsure on the weight after the roll cage install and taking off the AC stuff. Need to weigh it again.

Nice combo and car runs killer! How are the street manners of that converter at part throttle when out of lock up?

If I was going to daily drive this I would probably get a 2E instead which should be around 3600. The converter is very loose and likes to flash pretty quickly!

Gotcha. I would not want it for a daily driving just a fun weekend car.

lol, Not wanting to spray it. I like being all motor. Maybe some more weight savings a few ponies here and there. Gonna try MT Pro Radials in the 275 60 size to put me more in my peak range at the end of the track.
