Is my car making enough power to run 10's? I wasn't sure where to post this question so I thought this would be a good place?
I just had Heads & Cam installed by Cartek.
Julio dyno tuned the car today.
I was very happy with the results.
432.1 HP & 384.6 TQ
This is with a 4L60E transmission, steel drive shaft & Moser 12 bolt.
Through the cats no less! (I built the driveline first)
The only engine mods were the 3X cam and they ported my stock 241 heads and an underdrive pully. (I had a lid, Kooks headers, and Corsa catback)
Stock waterpump, No short belt, No ported throttle body, No ported intake, no free ram air trick, no MAF screen removed, none of that stuff, the car was bone stock (engine wise) when I brought it to them.
I was hoping to make 400 RWHP and figured I would add all of the above down the road. I wanted to get the big part of the job out of the way.
So is this enough power to get me in the 10's. Cartek say's it is?
PS. I also want to thank Cartek (Julio, Dave, Roy and Rich) since they are LS1 tech sponsors, for a job well done.

This car sounds similar to what I would like to do sometime down the road.
Very impressive numbers for not having all the bells and whistles.
Properly set up, at Atco, I believe it could go 10's NA.
