Cool Newest member of the 10 second 2.73 gear club :)

Finally decided to hit the NAWWWSSS 5177 dry kit, and so am applying for 10 second club status.
This is on M/T 275/50-15 Drag Radials at Kansas City on Nov 6th, on
90 octane fuel...

Two 75 shot Nauce passes:
1.65 60' 7.04 @ 98.48 1/8th 10.99 @ 124.75 (a littlespin on this pass)
1.56 60' 6.96 @ 97.98 1/8th 10.97 @ 122.01 (low bottle pressure on this run)

Timeslips, right lane both passes:

Vid: thanks to LS1stang Chris for video and hosting :

Launch pic from a 1.61 60' / 11.57 @ 117 motor pass:

My car's a little slower on 60' because of the 2.73 gear, but it IS
hooking....

I built the engine from junk parts I got from www.smcperformance.com and eBay in the fall of 2000. The valve covers have not been off the engine since I switched to www.cylinderheadspecialties.com heads (thanks Chris!) 3 years ago. The engine has full bolt ons, the heads (10.5:1 compression), a Comp 224/.581 cam, and a Yank ST4000 stall. The driveline is COMPLETELY stock (u-joints, steel driveshaft, torque arm, 2.73 geared 7.5" 10 bolt, axles, and wheel studs) aft of the tranny output shaft ( I built the 4L60-E, using the Raybestos Z-pak 3-4 clutches, Trangso shift and vacuum modulator kits). I've never had the cover off the rearend (now I don't want to look ). I tune the whole mess myself with HPTuners and the Aussie wideband. The car has been 11.42 @ 117.XX on the motor. Raceweight is 3450 lbs for quick runs.

I went ahead and combined the best speed/ET for my sig
thanks for looking

Good runs, congrats. That is a bad *** number with the gears you are running!
