Default 128 mph = 10 sec slip?

Hey, my car went 11.1@128 with a 1.73 60 tonight. If I could ever get this car to launch right, do I have a 10 in it? Car weighed in at 3410 lbs without me in it, so figure on about 3600 lb race weight.

Definitely more than enough mph if you get the traction. What kind of tires are you using?

26x10 bias ply ET Streets. I just had some brand new 26x10 ET Drags mounted up. I'm hoping they help a little.

I was gonna say, that is some serious freakin mph man! I'm hoping for that kind of mph with my new build! I was running 1.70 60's on MT radials and stock suspension not making a ton of power (trapping 112 with hotcam). Hoping to break 10.99 with the new build.

gearing has little to do with it. a properly stalled a4 can run 3.23 gears all day and run 10.9 or quicker @ 122+

all about traction

Then I don't know what my car's problem is then. I'm running a PT4000 converter with 3.42 gears and pulling 1.6 sixties and i'm nowhere near a mid 11 let alone a 10 second pass.

Best MPH in the car is a 121 but my 60' on that slip was a 2.1 I believe and it was a 12.00 pass if I recall. I don't have the slip anymore, I probably tossed it.

Should be getting in the 1.5s with that converter, you aren't leaving hard enough. How are you launching the car?

I've tried taching it up and off idle. Off idle has worked the best so far, it got me the 1.6 you see above. I'm using MT DR's and last time I weighed the car, it was 3520# with me in it.
