I looked up these bearings and they are for LS1, wanted to know if they are the same as the LQ4/LQ9 bearings? I can find out what yr my LQ9 is but havent looked yet, not sure if it matters or not, I looked on the description of the bearings and the 6.0L isnt listed on the main bearings but is listed on the cam and rod bearings, any help is appreciated.

YES!!! The demensions for the rods and main are the same as an LS1 In fact other then a gundrilled 1 inch hole through the center of the crank its the same exact casting number...

Be sure you have the cam tunels checked for size to insure you get the right bearings...

why would I need to do that with the cam tunels? shouldnt I be able to get the yr model of the block then have someone tell me the size? The cam bearings listed above say they work, im using TREX cam.

99-03 blocks are different from 04 up blocks. Not sure of exactly when they changed but thats what I came across... I beleve there is a listing for 2 diffrent sizes. Just mic it to be sure you get the correct ones...

ill just find out the block yr model, i dont have a mic. So will the TREX LS1 cam fit in any of these yr models? I believe mines a 04+

as per the description at the bottom of the page...

Fits first design 2003 applications only, where housing bore position 1 measures 2.326 in. and position 5 measures 2.348 in.

Its the size of the cam holes in the block. the main cam journal it self did not change. Machine shop can check it for you so you can order the right ones...

casting date is on the front pad of the block a letter followed by 3 numbers...

Yes the cam will fit. and yes The bearings will either need to be thicker or thinner. deppending on the block. Hope this helps clear it up for you.

I prefer the CLE-CB663HN rod bearings in LS motors. The CB663P fits but is old school for GENII small blocks.

Isnt there a difference? H and P type? H type is more expensive, not sure but Ill look. The CB663P are also for LS1, they may work in some other engines but its just a bearing, most bearings are universal.

Found the number

L101 so that means it Dec 10, 2001 is the date off the block. I hope this isnt the one with the longer crank or watever that wont work with T-56, I really didnt notice anything different, hopefully the reluctor wheel is the same as LS1 as well, dont wanna have to switch out a crank or wheel. Anyone here have that info? So which Cam bearing is good, the above stated correct?

"h" series bearings are tri-coated...they are race bearings. I always use them. Definatly worth the money.

The "P series" are generally a light duty passenger car bearing, and the "H series" are generally a high performance bearing, but there is a high performance P bearing. With those you can kind of fine tune the eccentricity of the bearing for a proper wear pattern. The front 30 pages or so of the Clevite catalog are VERY educational.

Ive used p series in high performance applications before but I may consider using the H series. I just dont have that much money and im on a budget, but the standard rod and main bearings should be alright?
