Thumbs up 9.69 @ 134.60 on stock shortblock

Congrats to Mike Pabon "1 Bad Z"! Tonight at Clobberthon (Houston Raceway Park) he set a new internet record, running a 9.69 @ 134.60 on a completely stock bottom end. Stock pistons, rods, crank, rod bolts, block. The bottom end has never been touched or taken apart. Amazing!

60'= 1.339
1/8= 6.106
mph=111.75
1/4=9.694
mph=134.60

Details:
1998 Camaro Z28
MTI Stage 2 heads
MTI C1 cam (222/222)
TH350 tranny
12-bolt rearend
250 shot wet kit nitrous
3303 lb raceweight

Its amazing how much abuse this stock shortblock has taken, not to mention all the power it has handled. I'd say Mike is damn good at tuning for nitrous! Extreme Stock class at the Spring Break Shootout will be interesting....

LOL. Yep, Mike has been in the 9s for a few months now, he just hasn't told anyone except a few of us. He wanted to run deeper in the 9s before posting it (he asked me to post this info since he was at the track).

Big Mike, his best 60' time so far has been 1.30
