congrats. I was attempting to do the same thing but at full weight. I guess I need to take some weight out and head back to the track. What have you done for weight reduction?

alot of stuff is out lol.

interior was gone except my driverseat and my whole dash with radio and one speaker in my driver door. spare tire and jack, bumper supports gone, a/c out except the part in the firewall. skinnies up front, sway bar gone, i think i weighed 3480 without skinnies up front, which drop 50lbs off and i dropped 50 more when i took the rest of my interior out, so id say 3380 raceweight

you could drop some weight pretty easily

sway bar and brackets, spare tire and jack, pass seat, carpet, rear seats, speakers in the back, a/c

weight reduction is your friend

theres at least another 100lbs to drop from the car between a tubular k member, a arms, hood, qa1's, etc etc

Nice times man. It looks like our set-ups are VERY similar, though I have a small cam, and 275/40/17 Sumitomo's that I'll be running for the next month or so until I get some DR's. Hopefully I'll make it out next weekend, and I'm hoping for similar times, so this gives me some inspiration. BTW, how did you launch?

I think it would be easier to get quicker times with an m6 over an auto on street tires. The advantage gained by the auto at launch would pretty much be gone and the higher trap speed of the stick car should make it a little quicker. I could be wrong though. It's just a theory.

i have 16" tires, so id say the added sidewall helps a lil

3000-3500 rpm slipping the clutch somewhat quickly
