Yes
No, mathematically I should be able to go about 123 with the current limiter and that doesn't take into account tire growth.
were you on the limiter going thru the lights?

Nice time, we have very similar setups. I ran a new PB on 9/12/09 which was 11.64@118 with a 1.62 60'. My cam is 231/237 and I was launching at 5800. I'm going back on Oct 24th to shoot for 11.5s. How much does your car weigh and what weight reduction do you have? Great looking car btw!

hmm nice run.. I have the same cam, same clutch and i was on M/T DRs on my stock 10 bolt and ran an 11.8 @ 119
I sooooo need a 12 bolt
Those tires are too big for your car. Unless in the future you are going with a PA.. You should stick with a 26" tall tire.. How much RWHP are you making? With all the mods in my sig, I am making 419... Put on a 26" tire and you will run faster

I'd rather overtire the car than undertire it, plus I plan on either a big h/c setup or a stroker if the motor lets go. If I go with a 26" I won't have enough gear on the big end. But you are right it's too much tire, leaving on the limiter it was bogging Thinking I'll tighten up the front a bit (was pulling them) and put a couple psi back in there. Perhaps bump up the limiter to 6800 judging by where you make your power.
I'm going back this weekend with some changes, wanna go 11.4x or break it trying.
Any idea what your car weighs?

What was your tire pressure at? I was going down in increments of 1 all day starting at 20 and couldn't hook. Some dude (running 8.50's) comes by on his atv and yells 'get those f*ckers down to 10' I laughed and and aired down to 11, next pass it ran a 1.55 60' pulling the fronts

All the HVAC stuff is gone, no back seats, no passenger, ozite carpet, kirkey seat, you get the idea. Then all the safety stuff to go 10.0, steel 5 point, loop etc. No idea what it weighs though.

How's your t56 treating ya? Synchros in mine are starting to get bad. Trying to decide if I should just do a standard rebuild or faceplate it. I'm losing a lot of time on my shifts ;[

if you're gonna race alot don't waste time with a standard rebuild...thats just one more thing to worry about...reason I haven't left on the rev limiter is I'm worried about the stock bellhousing. Bought the car as a driver now I'm building it into a street strip car even though I already have a strip car...I have the sickness..lol
