got an 11 sec slip

got an 11 sec slip I went to the local track tonight and tested the car out since I was having some trouble with the tranny short shifting. Well we figured it out and got some good passes.
the car is the one in my sig.
Shift point is set at 6500 and rev limiter at 6700
car weighed 3664 with me in it and a 1/4 tank of gas.

I am wondering what I could do to make it run a little better MPH wise.
I am knocking on the door for 10's and I think its in the car.
What does it take for this to be done? what would you do if you were me?
would increasing the shift point to shift at 6800 RPM and limiter at 7200 be beneficial
