Default Stock Internal DD Z28

Well I finally reached my goal of a 11.99. The car has more it in but the weather wasn't very good. Car has full bolts ons, RPM Level 4 4L60E, and a Yank SS4000. Only suspension is heater hose mod and LCA's. Car weighs 3190 w/o me and 3380 with me. I have LCA relocation brackets to go on now. Racestars with 28x8.5 Et Drags.

1.90 8.03@88.07 12.49@111.24 DA 1200' Didn't launch hard
1.77 7.79@88.94 12.19@112.12
1.63 7.61@89.24 12.01@112.02
1.66 7.62@89.60 11.99@112.55 DA 585'

Previous best was a 1.70 7.67@90.36 12.03@112.69 with a TCI 3500 and stock trans.

Also with the 4000 I ran a 1.62 7.62@88.xx with an extra 200lbs in the car. This was with a DA of -600 about a month ago.

Time slip will be posted later. We didn't get the 11.99 on video but we did get the 12.01 on video so it will be poster later also.

Video in 3rd post

Congrats and nice runs what gears? I'd bet there's more left in your sixty, my stock internals '98 T/A with an SS4000 and 3.73 gears went 1.56 sixty at 3810lbs.

Stock 3.23's. Yeah I'm certain there is some room to improve in my 60'. I have LCA relocation brackets waiting to go on and with more practice I'm sure it will go lower.

Thanks. How much did you gain with the FTRA?

Slips from two best runs. Didn't give much cool down on the last run cause I was trying to get back to the staging lanes before they closed.

Yeah in summer our DA is around that, but in winter it will drop on down. And thanks.

Awesome job man! I'm glad to see that these cars are capable of running that fast with a stock bottom end/stock internals. It gives me hope.

I'm also curious, I'm going to start pulling weight out of my car soon and would really like to know what other street driven cars have and what they don't

I pull the passenger seat, spare tire & jack, and rear speakers while at the track. I keep them in the rest of the time.

You give me hope for the upcoming season. I should be at a similar weight, but with 3.73s, a Yank 3500 and drag radials on 16" beater wheels.

Might take Atco to run the times, but all I care about is that 11.99999999 slip.

I've had the stall and gears in over a year now but have yet to run.

Looks pretty strong from the breaks on your slip. Have you gotten it tuned? You can always take more weight out!

Thanks man. I was really excited when I got my slip and it said 11.999. Weight reduction and good weather is key.

Man I miss those ZO6 rims on your car. Your signature was the reason that I started wanting C5 ZO6 rims.

Thanks. Yes a buddy (Badmanls1) on here tunes it for me. I'm looking at dropping a few more lbs over the summer, me and the car.

What do you mean by the breaks on the slip?

Wow just saw the times in your sig. Mind pm'ing me your suspension setup.

The intervals are also called the breaks, so 60, 330, 660, 1000, 1320. My suspension is nothing special. I have 3 QA1's since the guy I bought them from ripped me off and sent me one with a seized adjuster. My driver rear shock is a stock DeCarbon. I have Pavlock Performance aluminum LCA's in the stock mounting location, stock panhard bar, stock torque arm, Metco Driveshaft loop/chassis brace. Still have a stock k-member, a-arms, 10 bolt, etc etc etc.
