Default Finally got into the 11's, I want to join the club!

After three years of waiting, I've finally made it into the 11's! I never got there with my Turbo 3.8L Firebird(12.10@114mph), LQ4 powered Firebird(12.08@114mph), I ran a new best today with my 98 Formula.

My mph seems kind of low, the DA today was 1550ish. I like my 1/8th mile time and speed, just thinking maybe I'm shifting early. The car has the following mods;

stock LS1 short block
PRC stg 2.5 5.3L heads w/ 59cc chambers (11:1 static compression w/ GM MLS Head Gaskets)
eps 226/234 cam (.598"int/.601"exh 113+2 lsa)
Stock 1.7:1 rockers
comp 7.4" pushrods
LS7 Lifters
Katech Rod Bolts
LS2 timing chain
LS6 oil pump
Fast 92/92
slp lid
Ford #30 injectors (36@ 58psi)
pacesetter lt's w/ ory and magnaflow 3" catback
homebuilt 4L60E
4000 stall converter
stock aluminum driveshaft
3.23 rear gear
26" 275/55/15 MT ET street drag radial (22psi hot)
15" weld prostars
SD tune

Here's a couple passes down the 1/4 with HP tuners log files, maybe someone can decipher that jibberish??

Congrats! Are you shifting your A4 manually? After a lot of reading and trying, I found it's best to just put it in 3rd and let the computer shift... Give it a try next time out, my car liked it.. Agreed, MPH seems low.. But hey, welcome to the 11's!!

Not trying to be a dick but the mph and ETs seem off. My cam only full weight car runs that in worse DA. 1/8 looks a little slower then it should, and 1/4 is definitely off. Compare our slips if you like:

I know it seems off to me as well. I'm only running 26 degrees of timing, the pcm is set to shift at 6100rpm. It does the 1-2 shift around 6100, and 2-3 at 6500ish according to my hp tuner logs. I'm also close to full weight and with a 6 point mild steel cage. Only things this car doesn't have is ABS, EGR, AIR, Cruise Control, carpet insulation, spare tire, and the backseat. I'm 150lbs on a good day as well.

What is that D/A? Your definetly running slow and your mph is down. With that 60ft you should be running low-mid 11's easy @ 116 or higher

The DA for that pass was approximately 1550. I'm thinking my shift points need adjusted, I'm going to adjust them some and see what I can come up with. I need to wait until my local dragstrip begins Saturday test and tune(when their drag season ends)

Shift points should help. I see you are running at Kil-Kare, they have TNT every thursday evening. I will be there this week.

You are on the right track, 60' is decent just need to up the shifts. I'd say 6600 minimum for both shifts will give you another 1-1.5 mph.
