Default How many full weight F bodys w/o power adders are in the 11's?

I almost broke into the 11's yesterday and I was wondering how many other full weight f-bodys are doing it? I had full interior, 3/4 a tank of gas, and even the spare tire in.
R/T .177
60' 1.731
330 5.039
1/8 7.758
MPH 90.10
1000 10.117
1/4 12.099
MPH 114.87

This was my best of 3 runs at Byron Dragway in Byron, IL. Temp was about 85*.

Should I be running faster with the mods in my sig?

Thanks,
Ken

You should be running mid 11's to low 11's with those mods, i think maybe the DA might have had something to do with it.

3655 lbs with me in it and 1/4 tank, running 11.86 at 115 Mph, 1.72 60' with mods in sig.

Our cars are pretty similar minus heads and gears, I would say with good air you will get into 11.5 to 11.6.

There's a lot of full weight cars in the 11's.
What tires did you have on there @ Byron?
The strano/koni stuff is great, I run it too but not optimal for the strip
Byron hooks pretty good should have 11's easy if you got that 60' down some.

I had MT Et streets on it. I set the tire pressure at 20psi and it didn't seem to spin. I brake stalled it up to 2000 rpm and left on the 3rd light. I'm thinking the DA was 30.05 for the day. Do you think it would of left harder just going off of idle? What should I do to get it launch harder and get my 60' down? Thanks for the help. I'm going to try one more time at the track this year before putting it away for the year.

Oh, would going back to the stock springs help? I still have them, and currently scrap some exhaust getting in and out of the driveway.

Ive ran a best of 11.76 @ 114.8 and my car still has more in it with better DA, and Ive since done more suspension mods.

Patriot 227cc Heads
224/230 Comp Cams .581/.592
LS6 Intake
Ported Throttle Body
Pacesetter Headers, TSP ORY, Corsa Catback
SS3600 Stall
3.42 Gears
UMI Panhard & Lower Control Arms
26/10.5/16 MT Bias Plys

And now I have a UMI Torque Arm & LCA Relocation Brackets. This year I bought 15" bigs n littles and run 275/50/15 MT Drag Radials. Im also installing an UD pulley as soon as it arrives.

A 1.73 60 is not that bad really. I was in the same boat trying to get in the 11s this weekend, if I couldve gotten a 1.7 but my car just wouldnt hook at all.
