If you have a stock internal f body in the 11's with no power adders post your setup
I've searched and found some answers on this topic already but I'm hoping to get more in depth responses like still on a stock 10 bolt? Stuff like that. Also the exact setup (if willing) weight, intake, gear, who tuned it, etc. along with your best stock internal time.

As far as weight, car just had the basic stuff pulled (rear seats, jack, etc). I don't think it was too light, also being a WS6 didn't help as they are the heaviest besides convertible F-Body's.
This was with a headwind and in around +500 DA. To be honest with negative DA, no headwind and better driving car could have gone 11.70's/11.80's all day. The trap was also limited by the gear IMO. I believe with 3.73's it would have done around 115mph no problem. If I got serious about pulling weight the numbers would have improved as well. I made two 11.9x passes on the 10 Bolt and then called it quits, didn't want to have to get it towed home haha.
Best of luck to ya, it's really not that hard! If I had to do it again it wouldn't be too much of a challenge.

Most of the bolt on cars running 11 ' s will be in a very low to negative da, bigs and Littles and weight reduction. If your running a pacesetter y pipe, get rid of it or add a flowmaster merge. In addition to what you have (assuming your car 60' well), those things will get you 11's.

Thanks for the input guys, haven't been to the track this season. Since my 12.52 pass I've removed the front sway bar, tunnel mount tq arm, lca's and pan hard bar. When I am at the track the front has 17" z06 wheels and the drag radials are on the ugly stock 5 spokes. Buying a ls6 intake anytime now then ill probably put a 3.73 gear in and work on cutting some weight.

Your on the right track. You won't notice much difference in the 3.42 vs 3.73 (spend the money elsewhere). Un-sprung weight is where it's at. Get some light weight skinnies and concentrate on getting weight off the nose. Lightweight battery, no/empty washer bottle, bumper support, etc. Short belt mod is good for a few hp. It all adds up....
Negative DA is good for .2 - .4 tenths (as stated earlier)

I drove a buddy's 99 Z28 to a 11.96 @116.xx with a 1.76 60'. It was not shifting good (very slow shifts) that day when I had got in it because they had missed some gears and had the tranny jicked up. So with it shifting right quicker/faster would have been a no brainer.
It had about 200lb of weight reduction via drag pack, k member, spare/jack, small battery but that's about it. For mods it had a udp, spec xtrim clutch(which adds to the weight reduction), M&H dr's, 01/02 exhaust mani's with a slight port job and a ported ls6 intake I did years ago.......stock tune other than some deleted stuff.
3.73 gears also in the 10 bolt. 4.10's seem to be a bit much gear for me. 3.90's probably optimal for drag racing. But the 3.73's let the car hook better on the street and they let it settle and just pull all the way threw the 1/4.
No negative da needed. Anything below 2000 should get you there easily with a full bolt-on car.

I figured I'd post up my old setup that ran 11.47 117.5 mph (1.65 60') First pass on the new tune with the Stall: was told I couldn't run again without a roll-bar. Installed the cam, ported the heads, tuned it and sold it before I got a chance to run it again.
@ OSW DA was about +400 ft
2000 Camaro Z28 A4 stock 3:23's
FTI 3800 stall, stock trans with a cooler. (kept some torque management in the tune)
Race weight: 3345 with me in it. (about 270 lbs of weight reduction from stock)
stock 16" wheels with nitto NT555R's (tires @ 15 psi)
lid, UDP, free mods, home ported TB, BBK LT's ORY, dumped 3" bullet
Home ported LS1 intake, ghetto fabbed under-car ram air setup. (no air-filter during run)
Street tuned using HPtuners (never been on the dyno)
BMR lowering springs, KYB AGX shocks, no front sway bar.
No other real performance mods, just a well maintained low mileage car that ran good for what little mods it had. (72,000 miles at time of run)
For anybody attempting to hit 11's with bolt-ons it's pretty easy with a stalled auto. Just make sure you cover all the details, little things like weight reduction and tire pressure add up to a big difference when all done properly.
Sold that car, Now I'm looking for a C5 or C6 to play with.

Do you have a picture or a link for the flowmaster merge? I would like to see it and make sure I get the correct flowmaster merge that you talked about above.

-pin-on hood
-front sway bar removed
-my exhaust setup saved alot of weight over stock
-Miscellaneous unnecesary brackets, traction control etc. I literally spent a whole day unbolting and cutting off random stuff and ended up with a 5 gal bucket full of junk, probably 30-40 lbs right there.
My new goal is to hit 10's with bolt-ons and stall on my 2012 C6 A6

Still on the top 50 SI list. I did it with full suspension, I really focused on the 60 ft. SFC, LCA, reloc brackets, torque arms, QA1's, front drag springs, right rear air bag. Every thing you can to hook.
I made it there with a 10 bolt (3:73), but once I was in the 1.50 60 foot range, it grenaded and I went 12 bolt.
Nothing crazy on the weight reduction, I did all the stuff listed, removed the extra seats, spare tire, etc.

3600 stall,LS6 intake,ported throttle body,powerbond pulley,Pacesetters,SLP Dual Dual,Straon rear sway bar,Fast Toys ram air,SS hood and tune. Jack and spare in the car. If I did it again I am sure I could run low 11s with better(Fast intake,better pulley,bigger TB,Bigger headers,better catback) and more bolt ons. Best time with that combo was 11.7 at 114.

curious to know from the stalled automatic guys where you set your shift points. Also, for those with M&T drag radials, what tire pressure were you running. Thanks in advance.
