No, ET Street Radials and skinnies. As far as I am concerned you need tires long before you need anything else. That converter hits pretty hard. I don't think the car would move with street tires.

Great work on the times with basic stuff.

It's all about the right combination and that one looks dead on.

Post the slip details? 1/8th?

Nice job. I miss the bolt on days. Weld your tubes and get an LPW rear girdle for insurance

It will get a 9" before I (she) sinks any money in that 10 bolt. We race every weekend so I want insurance. Already switched one car to a 9",this one soon to follow. It will slow down a little but well worth it.

Went 11.91 again today in 80 degree heat, now we have a broken trans to show for it. Servo retaining ring blew out and broke the case.

Congrats on the times! But sorry about the trans!

How does that high of a stall work for daily driving and on the highway, cruising etc.?

Not a dd but driven to the track by my wife. When locked up in od no different than stock(cruise around 1800). Normal driving is fine in my opinion not bad at all. There is so much to gain by this converter that I would not think twice. You will not get any more performance with any other single mod.

is this pretty accurate in terms of what to expect?? in terms of shifting behavior?

Looking to do a stall as well, but keep it 2.73 gearing and a very very basic set up. Wanna focus more on suspension and tires to get the best times.

Why did your trans go out? Mileage related or just luck of the draw?

I plan on running a trans cooler as well, but that's about it.

66k miles. I installed a shift kit last fall and it pushed he snap ring out that holds the servo in (twice) and broke the housing. It almost seems like to much pressure? The trans has about 175 passes on it. I have a new FLT level 4 waiting to go in tomorrow.

that sucks. Why not just leave it in Drive? No fun in that I guess lol. I have a shift kit in my '13 Charger RT and I always use the shift kit over Drive as well..

Sorry, didn't mean to thread jack.. I am from the Hemi side and the new 392 scat pack with the 8 speed auto runs about 11.9@118mph stock but it costs a whopping $43-45k and weighs in at a spectacular 4,200 + lbs. and with 470hp/crank stock.

The Z28 A4 costed me $6,900!

Would ET Street Radials and Skinnies be over kill for a basic bolt on car?
