Bigger stall like a 4,000 and smaller tires like a 275/50/15 or a 276/60/15.. What rear gears do you have?

Thanks, ended up putting a tq arm on the car and switching to a Hoosier drag radial and it went 11.36 at 118. It runs good for cam only. Just picked up a set of Prc as cast 225's so that will be my winter project and hopefully it will go 10's next season.

What was your 60 on that pass ?

Is your FTI converter the hardhit version?

60ft on that pass was 1.52, converter is the "regular" 3800 not the hard hit.

Cool just curious because I have the 4k hardhit version. Can't wait to get back on a track and hook up to hopefully a 1.5x or better

How do you like the 4k hard hit? Ive been throwing the idea around to loosen my converter up. What do you shift the car at and what is your shift extension on it?

Honestly not sure what the shift extention is. But I shift at 6600

I really like it so far. Got around 2.5k miles on it.

I think for the mph its pretty much maxed out, so unless i add more power/ drop some more weight or wait for a crazy negative da this is about as fast as it will get.
what front shocks? Any subframe connectors? Your 60ft really impresses me especially with lowering springs. I was ready to spend big money on the Viking kit until I read this!

Stock front shocks and no sub frame connectors. I was also looking at the Viking front shocks the car 60fts good but I think it can be better I'd like to be in the 1.4's. I have since added a set of PRC 227 heads and will post new times slips when the track opens in April.

This was launching off idle and flashing the converter, if i tried to load the converter if would just spin. I may go to a bias ply next and see if i can stall it up and get it to hook.
did you run that with the 410s ???

I have been thinking about doing a fast but I just can't justify spending $1500+ to gain 20hp. For that money I'll put 150 shot on the car.

I bought the 225's first with 58 cc chambers was told they would work with my cam but after measuring the ptv clearance it was to close for comfort. Texas Speed was awesome about it, I returned the 225's and figured while i was at it to spend a little more coin and step up to the 227's with 62 cc chambers which gave me more room.

Overall im very pleased with the heads, just comparing on the street to other cars i have raced in the past it pulls harder up top. Raced my buddies ported blower Cobra which made a little over 500 hp to the wheels and from a 40 roll i put about 1.5 cars on him. For an auto the car rolls out.
