A4 Ls1 Camaro with heads, cam, ls6 intake, headers, exhaust, 3600 stall and it's got a little weight off.

Got a few parts to put on it still.

What's strange is you're doing 91 in the 1/8th (which is in the normal range) but only 113 in the 1/4 mile. Something is not right

what are your RPM's at when you trap? What gears are you running?

Are you running a lid and some sort of ram air?

Yeah something's off on the back half of your run. Your 60' look fine, but your mph is off for your et and should probably be a little quicker too. I only have 2.73 gears and can only 60' at 1.77-1.78, 1/8th 91-92mph running 11.85 @116.27, but even my 12.05 was at 115.63. You have a lot more potential in your car than mine, so I'd look into what's causing the last part to slow down, tune maybe? Good run though, I'd love to have your 60' I think once you get it figured out you'll have no problem running 11.40's or low 11.50's.

Keep us posted because I'm interested to see what you find out and what you end up running, I think you will definitely be even happier after that. If you don't mind me asking, what heads and cam do you have?

I have a slp lid on there

Would the fact of my car being dyno tuned in 2nd gear with a safe tune have anything to do with the low mph?

I'm not positive, but I thought you were supposed to do it in 3rd gear. Your 1/8th mi time is pretty close, but the last half of the track you're not trapping what you should be. What heads and cam do you have? If I had to guess with the weight reduction you have, if it's a decent size cam and even 243's you should be trapping at least 118 to low 120's in a stalled auto.

Post the dyno graph if you have it.

Being tuned in 2nd hear has nothing to do with it. Something is happening between the 1/8 and 1/4

So if you have a 28" tall tire with 3.73, I think you are well below your cams peak horsepower. That may be why the trap is so low. Just my opinion.

It should. If you know where your rev limiter is set at you can pin point what rpm you'll be at when you trap. Play around with this site.

I was going to post a comment saying blah blah blah it looks ok for a N/A stock internal car... Then I noticed you have heads/cam... That MPH is consistently garbage. 91MPH to the 1/8th is pretty much dogshit too. Who tuned it? I can't see the dyno graph. First things first, go to the car right now, take that SLP lid off and throw it away. Get the big Fast Toys lid, bigger MAF, and Chrs1313 ram air. That should be worth a solid couple MPH on its own. Then find a different tuner.

Im not sure it's the tune, it was done by a well known shop around here. I spend $450 on it so do I go back and have it retuned or take it some place else?

Run the car again without a 28" tall tire. See how much of a difference it makes. Not a bad idea to let the tuner know your disappointed with the trap speed.

What did he set the timing at WOT?

When I tune mine in 2nd gear instead of 3rd it makes 3rd rich (11.8-12.0 instead of 12.8).

Touching up the tune to get 12.8 in 3rd gained me around a tenth and a mph DA corrected.

Who ported the heads? A bad port job could be going turbulent.
