I think you're right, and I think a big reason for that is because nitrous hits with instant hp and tq. Whereas as blower or turbo doesnt hit quite like that. Hence loss of traction much more so with nitrous

You got it haha. I'd love to hit 10s with a full suspension set up and some slicks n/a... but unless it's the perfect d/a I have a feeling I'm going to need nitrous to get there.

Yeah at full weight I cant imagine cracking into the 10's no matter what tire and suspension you run. Small shot of nitrous or some decent weight reduction along with your idea...then it might be possible

Not with my new setup n/a or nitrous, but I made one pass with my old crappy tune and LS6 intake. It was one pass only n/a and it was 12.4 @ 118 with a 2.0 60ft.

That's not bad at all! I had to ride the hell out of clutch to get a 1.9x 60 foot on street tires.. definitely want to cut a few seconds off of that with a hard launch and some sticky tires

1.9x 60ft is actually pretty damn good on street tires IMO. Do you happen to know the DA and temp at the track that day? It's really hard to get a good launch with a high powered manual trans without some real practice, and I really don't want to break my 10 bolt just yet lol

Not exactly sure on the DA and track temp. It was at Cecil County Dragway in Maryland at night in August. I usually run at night since the DA drops so much

That makes sense. I bet you'll pull 11.5 or so with a drag radial. What are you shooting for?

N/A I'm "hoping" for an 11.4 or lower with a drag radial on a good night before I spray it.

End goal is 10.7 or lower with around 600hp and without a drag pack.. I want it to be a full weight street car haha.

That would be pretty impressive for a full weight 6 speed

I guess we'll see what happens haha. I may end up doing some minor weight reduction.

Not exactly sure where to start on all that.
