Car is doing good man. Should be good for 11.40's - 50's if you can get the 60ft down in the 1.6's

Yea, just a matter of how to get down to that. I really wanted to hit 11.5x originally before it even was on the road. Shaving 2 tenths will be tough IMO. Going to try and do the brake upgrade over the winter so I can get the car to stall higher on th line to launch harder. Other than that, need to swap these old *** shocks for some race friendly but streetable shocks.

typically it will stall higher ,hit harder , and transfer weight/plant tires better if you "flash" it from idle

Well I'm guessing you weren't spinning at all with the 28" mickeys so you might want to do like murph said and try out some different launch techniques. losing a little weight out of the car would help a lot too

Interesting. I'm still a n00b at the whole racing thing so I am curious if it'll run better from an idle. Thanks man

Yea it didn't feel like it spun at sll. Maybe just a hair. But I do want to do it with full weight in car. Just another thing to say this is xx.xx car st full weight. Just something I'd like to get to with a full weight car.

Car is beautiful. Try leaving at idle my best results came from that. Once you get the 60ft down I see 11.40 in your future.

If I were you I'd try putting a 50 sidewall Hoosier drag radial on it. 26" tall compared to the 28" u have on their now. They are also considerably lighter.

Well went to the track last night again. Only thing different from last time was I has exhaust redone with a x pipe and out a ratchet shifter in. Still put it in drive and let the car do it's thing. Well from first run to last, I hit personal bests and was extremely happy. Here's my best run of the night .

RT - .231
60 ft - 1.713
330 - 4.782
1/8th - 7.338
MPH - 96.41
1000- 9.547

1/4 - 11.42
MPH - 120.27

So happy with this car. Over the winter I want to finish my CAI so my filter isn't on a hot radiator hose, swap to better shock setup and get matching front wheels to my rear wheels with a lighter wheel combo.
