After trials and tribulations a many: failure in chasing a tenth as a 12.09 bolt on car, upgrading to a turbo cam only to hurt the 10-bolt before returning to the track, and having to wait a year to upgrade to a Moser 9", my Z-28 finally made it into the 11s yesterday.
I started with a 12.14 shakedown pass, and after making sure everything was working well, I let her rip. The next pass ended up being my best of the day at an 11.85, followed by an 11.9 and another 11.8.
I'm thrilled to finally reach 11s, but now I've got to put my head together with my tuner to see how I can get some mph back. I'm running the same mph I ran as a bolt on car.
