Finally got to test out the flt4 trans with circle d 1e 4k stall. Car seems to run almost the same as it did with the ss3600 but my data suggests slower. Still not bad times. Race weight around 3500-3600lb and I have to say I was impressed with these toyo drs. 342 da. Left lane.

275 40 17 stock size. zr1s
I was hesitant about going to the track with these. I got them for more of a street tire and to save $. They were doing consistent 1.6s. They proved me wrong.

Yeah I love those tires. In fact I'll be getting some this spring. I had a set on my Mustang and they did great

Good utilitarian tire, I almost cut high 1.6s with a shitty suspension setup. got 18k miles out of them until a screwdriver punctured one. was DA the same?

I forget what Circle D you have...

LOL a screwdriver?!
No the da was not the same but very close. The only other race night I can compare was here https://ls1tech.com/forums/11-second...-121-14-a.html when the car came in over 100lbs heavier just like now. Race weight both times were about 3550. The da then was a little worse at 562 vs 342 now.
All my other data/track stats are with the car 100lbs out and swaybar off but even then comparing the data is does look like the car is slower now. Lots of variables though. IDK if its the stalls efficiency or maybe worn out valve springs? I believe its down a couple tenths though.
Stall is the 1e 4k unlike your 2e IIRC.

Yea I see you're missing a few tenths and some mph. Don't want to get the car lighter?

It was a last min thing going racing and I didn't have faith in these tires. I figured since I didn't expect a personal best with the tires I thought why take the street weight out. I personally like the swaybar on the street and I have all the seats in for my kids.
To be honest I feel like I might be done with this car and might go another route. Thinking c5 with FI but we'll see I could always do another motor in this car. Iv been bored for a while and its sucks the track is 2.5 hrs away! LOL!

I heard the hell out of that. I plan on going Turbo with my car since it's already an auto and then doing a stroker NA + N20 C5Z. That way I can have a fast street race car and the vet can be a fast cruiser.

I forget what having a sway bar even feels like haha

Thanks.

heads, cam, intake, full exhaust, pretty much all boltons, built flt4 trans with circle d 4k stall, 3.73, stock zr1 wheels, toyo drs, a little weight reduction.
