what do u mean by stock? just the motor and trans.. or the whole car besides spray??

now with a few boltons yes why not, and some et streets.. and good job if thats what u got

Bone stock engine and tranny, stock TC, stock gears, DRs, no cats, headers. Oh and stock fuel pump on a dry 200 +. I'm pushin it lol

i would say so..... what size drag radials??? i had a lid and cutout and 150 shot last time i ran teh 1/4.. 245 nittos.. coudln't do better then a 2.2X 60ft.. though i did cut a good mph and et for my shitty times. i spun a lil coming of the line n/a which shot my rpms up a lil causing my window switch to kick in early, cuasing even worse spinning lol. how did u keep it from spinning horribly, granted i was running in the 7.45-7.50 range pretty consistent at the local 1/8th.. but with a 1.95 60ft time... seems that 1/4 mile track was a bit slicker.

now that ive added a stall and headers and will be leaving off the line spraying i need to hook! stock trans lasted one 1/2 pass this way on some old bald et streets, then it gave up the ghost and i added headers and rebuilt it... so i wonder what tire ur running that u can hook so decent on?? i should be making 20-25 more rwhp this time out and be leaving lots harder.. if i coudl get a 1.70 60ft instead of the 2.27 or 2.29 i think i had, i could be in the 10.90-11.1 range for sure.

i would like to run dr's.. even though on those shitty et streets i pulled a 1.63x before the trans gave out.

oh just so u know my buddy did this.. didn't turn out to well for his plugs or pistons... just so u know i think ur going to find ur leaning out!

Well it's a Vette first of all so it hooks fairly well and is fairly light. I lowered the rear of the car several inches to keep weight on the rear. Also used edit to pull a bunch of timing down low to keep it hooked on the shift. They were 315/35R17 BFG DR.

As far as being lean is concerned the WB showed it was fairly fat (in the 10:1 range on a 72 jet). Maybe I got a factory freak fuel system I'm running VERY cold plugs and there didn't seem to be any appreciable knock. It just straight ran it's *** off. I've been lucky with the trans so far, I know its just waiting to die.
