Default Power History - 11s finally

1998 Z28 -
All runs @ 1100+ above sea level
car weight @ 3600lbs w/me & 91 octane & no skinnies.

Stock w/Lid and muffler & 3.23 gears in warm/humid - Stock tires
2.x 60 - 13.6 @ 103

Added Headers/Heavy ROH Snypers17s- warm/humid - Kumhos low track prep
2.x 60 - 13.4 @ 105

Added LS6 intake/SY3500/T1 - mild humid - Kumhos - mild track prep
1.8 60 - 12.5 @ 109

Added 5.3 ported Truck Heads - warm humid - Kuhmos -mild track prep
1.8 60 - 12.4 @ 111

Added F13 - nittos DRS -22 psi - warm Humid - low track prep
1.9 60 12.3 @ 112

Added MS3/AFR205s/3.73/Fast90/NittoDR/ - Cool low humidity - no track prep
2.1 60 - 12.3 @ 116

Added SS4000 - ET Streets - 18 PSi - warm very humid - good track prep
1.6 60 -11.6 @ 116

The trap is a bit lower than i like, but weather was crappy, i dont run skinnies and i have no weight reduction.

I think if I went on a night that was cooler and low humidty w/same track prep and maybe some 93 octane I could trap better and maybe hit 11.50s?
We shall see.

why do you want a higher trap speed? I've always believed that if you run the same ET at a higher trap speed that means you are making up for a really crappy start to get the same et.

Because a higher trap speeds shows that the car is then making more power. I agree, 116 sounds low for a MS3 and AFR 205s. I went 118 last year with my small cam and ported 5.3s. Have the car dynoed recently to see if there are any weird spots in the power curve?

My friends said the lights flashed 118, but my slip only says 116. So I will go by the slip. The weather conditions were not very good. Im going to run through everything and check things out anyways.
