Will i finally have a 11 car?
ok i have a 1998 going with ms4 cam 410 gears of course a better driver lolls6 intake have already ory tx speed,dynomax bullet and dammit if i dont get 11.9 im buying a 150 wet kit. my last car in sig i tried hard just couldnt get in the 11 bracket i tore up **** so much i gave up this 98 if it dont work i will sell motor and get me a 02 y is it so hard to get a 98 in low #'s

well i'm planning on going friday night, i have an ms4 w/stock ls6 heads. If all goes well i'm hoping for 11's. It definately feels like it will get there, i have been having some issues with my o2's but hopefully i fixed that the other day. I will let you know how i do. Also i'm running a moser 12 bolt with 3.73's on some m/t et streets 26x11.50's.

its just around here seems like everyones on a 99 and up kick like 98 cant get down in the #'s u can damn near get a 98 engine for pennys on the dollar.all we have is thunder, and futral to do programing thats in driving range. and i have heard from a few people that if you are not useing there cams the wont give your tunning the best they have only what ive heard.

i know that 98's are slower when stock or near stock. my buddy had one and he had a lid and exhaust and 3.23 geared car and i had a bone stock 2000 with 2.73's and i would outrun him by 2 cars on multiple occasions. as far as your setup getting your car in the 11's im not sure, what size stall do you have? if your running that ms4 with stock heads i dont think you'll see 11's, but if you got heads, cam, headers and full boltons and cut a good 60 time i think you can get mid 11's.

^^^^lol at you they are 01 02 cars localy here with the same mods as me and my car is faster at the track.....take your car and your buddies to the track......anything will happen on the street....
as far as heads ive been looking at tsp and the dart heads as well...they are both in my budget but i wanna see how fast she goes on the stockers.......

its kool thats what some wanna believe well this going to be a bad *** 98.ms4 5.3 2.5 heads all ordered just waitng on my fly cutting price with install 42lb inj! 150 Shot so all **** talkers against 98's im coming

lol my stick game is ok can use some work. but i have a exellent driver to make it do what it do. ill be lucky to get into 3rd gear lol. atleast i know i have a fast car finally ill just be my own hold up. we street race a lot in new orleans and surrounding areas so plenty time 4 practice

ok (update) after reading treads getting emails etc... i have desided to go with the MS4 LS6 stage 3 or 2.5 heads so i do not have to fly cut. after reading and i am not going to fly cut because im spraying a 150 shot. do you agree this is a wise choice open to any comments( if u dont commenet your car will blow on your next pass ) lol help a fella out

that 98 crap is just myth.. i got an 98 car, my friend has an 02 car another friend of mine has 2 02's and i am working on a h/c 01 car along with mine.. bone stock mine was the fastest.... the 98 car has both bigger cam and bigger injectors, but bad heads.. its diffirent under the curve but not slower at all

Corrections ill be useing the MS4 with ls6 stg 1 head i was told that will clear the pistons. but i was thinking the 5.3 2.5 head would give better time with bumping up the compression but i would be fly cutting. i was told instead of fly cutting just buy more pistons with the clearance? i have a big *** head ache lol
