Default Oh so close to the 10 second club...

Well, after numerous fiascos with Superior Automotive's shoddy work which almost cost me an entire Lunati 4340 rotating assembly and DID cost me the stock block, I got everything put back together into a new LS2 block. In short, everybody will probably call me nuts for the top end I'm running, but it's all my budget can afford for now after having to rebuild an entire motor.

2000 Camaro SS, repainted Viper red with black stinger and taillight area

LS2 block, bored 4.010", Lunati 4340 rotating assembly, 4" stroke, Mahle 12cc dish pistons, 404 cubic inches.

Superior Automotive ported LS1 heads, flow somewhere around 280/210@.600 (they managed to "misplace" flow data), ~11.02:1 compression

Superior-spec'd OTS Comp Cams XE-R 232/234 .647/.651 112.5+3* (dummies put 1.85 rockers on it)

LS6 stock intake, stock TB, and stock MAF, ECM tuned by Ed Wright

Vigilante 3800 stall converter, modded 4L60E, 12 bolt with 4.10s

Only real mods to the car are rollcage and BMR torque arm, all else is factory stock, still has A/C and ABS, etc. and weighs 3742 with me in it. Most recently at Dinwiddie track on a 28x10.50 ET Street I managed a 1.61 60' and an 11.23@117. I think it's burning up the 3/4 clutch pack again as last year it was in the 1.49 range and a hair over 120mph when it was a 383. I know the top end is ridiculously small, but I have some L92s and L76 intake, 90mm TB and 100mm MAF along with a 238/250 .621/.621 110+2 cam ready to go into it in about two weeks, so I should get up into the 10 second club here soon. LMK what you guys think about the new top end, and if anybody has something close to this, what your ETs are. I'm hoping to get down into the 10.50s or so with it. Thanks!
