Default New best time 11.65

Went to the track on Saturday and heres the new times.

1st run
60'----2.080
330---5.414
1/8---8.058
mph---94.31
1000---10.311
1/4-----12.178
mph----121.34

2nd run
60'----1.723
330----4.929
1/8----7.545
mph---93.62
1000---9.790
1/4---11.657
mph---121.28

3rd run
60'---1.814
330---4.957
1/8----7.568
mph---93.81
1000--9.813
1/4---11.683
mph---121.06

At least for me the track didn't seem to hook all that great. Back in July I was pulling 1.6 60' times. But other than that crappy first run I was fairly happy , all I wanted to do was beat my current time of 11.7@ 118.

Nice setup, 4.56's -thats a lot of gear! I guess the 28's take that down some. how much do you put down on the rollers?

When the 10bolt and 4.10'swere in it the car put down 412rwhp and 368tq. But yeah them 28's did help out with bringing down the rpm's at the end of the track some.

Yeah, I don't know how I managed that. I guess the cool weather helped out. I think it was only around mid 50's.

I hope I can keep it up there next season. Maybe my shifting was just alittle better than last time.I don't know, I sure know my 60' times weren't what they were back in July.

I'm thinking if I can keep the 121mph trap speed and get my 60' back down to a 1.6 again I should be able to pull off an easy 11.5et. I wasn't planning on putting heads on this motor but if I can find a GOOD used set then maybe I'll consider it. But so far I'd like to see what I can manage out of this thing without modified or aftermarket heads.
