Default How many of you m6 guys with stock in 11's?

Well I hope to make it to the 11's in the spring I just put a cam in and make almost 400 to the wheels. I plan on getting a ls7 clutch to hold the power and maybe a torque arm. Do you guys think I can make it to the 11's? I dont want 4.10's but may go 3.73

i think you should be able to, i got my heavy 6 speed goat into the 11's with just a cam and LS7 clutch, and slicks (headers of course and a tune) I guess it would depend in the DA and your driving ability though...i dont see why not though

I don't have any times yet, however I hope to join you M6 guys in the 11's!

I think I have the power to get there, however the elevation around here is 900+ ft. above sea level.

Uh the 4.10's have much more risk of breaking due to the fact that only about 2 of the gears are actually touching each other.

You should be deep into the 11's with some good tires. I just went 12.06 last weekend on bald drag radials and full interior, and im a bolt on only car with stock rear and gears. Of course i live down here in houston and the track was hooking great...

The 10 bolt is a pos anyway. Seen bolt on guys with drag radials break em with 3:42s and the difference in fuel economy is negligable. My mpgs dropped less than 1 whole mpg adding 4:10s.

I went 11's with 3.73.. it will be hard on the clutch because your car is heavy..

My car was bolt on's with ls1 intake. back in 2000. with 400 rwhp you should be able to do it. just let your clutch cool..
