I have a 9 inch I'm ordering after tax returns, with the mods in my sig and power level, I'm debating on going 3.90 or 4.10s. I'd like to here what power levels, gear ratio and height of tire u guys are running. But any info helps right now. Thanks guys

3.89s on a 9" here. Old setup in the sig. Car is torn apart at the moment. The car did it on a 27" QTPs cutting 1.59 60' times consistantly. 11.88 all motor shifting at 6300. RWHP around 370.

I'm not thinkin of gears for the ten bolt, its for the 9 inch. As far as future mods, either a 150 shot or a procharger down the road. My biggest concern is having to shift into fifth at the end of the quarter mile. Thus the debate between 4.10 and 3.90

My rev limt is 6300 I plan on runnin a 315 17 dr for the time being. But the future I'll run some prostars and haven't made up my mind whether to run a 26 or 28 inch tire.

well with a 26" tire 6300rpms in 4th you can go 123 with 3.90
26" tire 6300 rpm 4th 4.10 117mph

28" tire 6300 rpm 4th 4.10 128
28" tire 6300 rpm 4th 3.90 135

fyi i have bolt ons, and a toquer v.2 cam with 3.90s with a 6600rpm revlimit. i plan on using a 150 dry shot with a 26" m/t et street i can go 131 in 4th


imo i say you get 3.90 and use the 26" tire. you can bump up the revlimiter a few and i think its 2mph for 100 rpm
