Default th400 torque converter to flexplate bolts

hey guys, i'm mating a th400 and sbc converter to a 98 LS1 flexplate. At the parts store they have a bolt set for a TH350. the specs are 0.375" x 5/8". but their website (oreillys) says there is another bolt set for a TH400 where the bolts are 0.375" x 1/2".

Is it ok to use the 5/8" TH350 set? My LS1 engine should make 400 horsepower give or take a few hp.

I wanted to check with you guys before getting them. Don't want to shear off bolts or have something else weird happen.

Thanks again for any help/advice

I am running ARP's in mine, you need to make sure of how thick the flange is on the converter where the bolts go through I had to have longer ones for my setup.

I don't remember them having a specific torque spec, but I just tightened them up with a pair of wrenches like I always do. No problems still tight as hell when my setup came back out.
