When you burn a liter gas you get about .8 of a liter back in water, sometimes you don't notice it because most exhausts have a small hole in the muffler that it drains out of, or the exhaust is hot enough that it's coming out the tail pipe as steam. Nothing to worrie about.

Water would literally be pooring out of the exhaust of cars if that were true.
The percentage of water in the exhaust emission is much less than 0.8 (80%).

Sorry it's not by Volume it's by weight. It's been a few years since I was doing the testing in collage but it was close to 80% of the volume of gas burned ends up as water coming out the tail pipe.
As for the brown stuff coming out I would assume that is rust or something in the pipes that is coming out. I usally see blackish water coming out but my car has a stock tune on it so it's quite rich.

I love when I see my car or my wife's stang do it because I just say they're drooling
its just water from the gas. kinda like when you breathe, you breath out moisture.
I'd say the brown is rust. I bet you've still got stock exhaust. The exhaust manifolds I believe are iron, which rusts from contact with oxygen(from air or water). On the inside of them they'll have rust too. When car is on, water which has oxygen in it comes into contact with manifolds. When the exhaust is hot it will be steam. When car is off, exhaust is cool. First start up will blow out settled water and there you have it. Think about a cold glass of water sitting on a table. Why does the table end up with drips of water on it? Its condensation. You've just got rusty condensation no big deal

they'll do it with and w/o cats. if water is coming out of your tail pipes it does not mean you're leaking anything... As far as exhaust is concerned only watch out for funky sounds (when they're not supposed to be there), and white or blue smoke. Blue is too much oil and white is blown head gasket Otherwise don't worry about it.

i've seen black soot come out of mine, thats normal, but crown water is different , never seen that before. the black spot is the condsenation picking up all the sediment and residue from your piping , thats fine.... my question is where the brown is coming from, i'll keep an eye out and make sure everythings ok.
