I believe the answer is YES! You can slap a much bigger turbo on there with the right stuff. But what are your goals?

That should work.

Firehawk123 did have S91 with 408ci, no quick spool valve, and he told me it is a little laggy on his friend's car when he sold the S91 to him fitted on 408ci on streets.

The slight lag with the 91 and m6 was perfect. I could hook at any roll and any speed, brake spooling to 11-12lb. The 91 with an auto is a little different. Converter flash, insta spool, tire smoke; that about covers it. haha

Yeah an Auto will flat out make a HUGE difference in spool up.

there are ways to get manual cars to sppol aswell you know guys! you just have to think out of the box!

Have any of your heard of the 'Rocket Box' used by Subaru on their WRC cars?

the best turbos for a 408 would be an 76 or a little higher. my buddy is running a 76mm on a 408 and it spools at around 3k, he is also running an auto. But with the old six speed, it boosted around the same time. I wouldn't go with anything higher than a 91, but that depends on what you want to do with the car.

76mm is too small for a 408ci.

i run an S88, response is pretty damn good, and power is fantastic. my 76gts on my 365ci had a slightly better response, but at the same time was a MUCH smaller hot side with a lot less potential.

i would definitely look into forced inductions' air werks line
