Default 1980 Pontiac Trans Am for sale/trade

Year: 1980
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $5500
Mileage: 92000
Location (State): KY
Transmission: Automatic
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive

THE FIRST OFFER OVER $10500.00 GETS EVERYTHING SO I CAN CLEAN OUT THE GARAGE

I am looking to clean out my garage for my Fathers 1953 Ford F100. He is currently undergoing Chemotherapy for lung cancer and I need to make room for his truck. I have a lot of money tied up in this car and parts, but I am not going to give it away either. So please no crazy low ball offers.

I would be willing to trade my car and all the parts for a 6 Speed LS powered F-Body or a low mileage LT1 6speed as long as it is in good shape with a clear title (no green or white cars please).

Lets see what you have to trade. NO JAPANESE,GERMAN, or ENGLISH cars. $6,000.00 for car and 10500.00 for car and all the parts .

1980 Pontiac Trans Am with 4.9 Ltr Automatic Transmission 95,000 miles repainted within the last 4 years. It is a low option car, has no T-tops,AC, power locks or power windows.

The good:
New windshield (07)
New water pump (07)
New Dunlop GT Qualifier tires (07)
New dual exhaust with flowmaster mufflers(07)
New brakes (07)
New heatercore (09)
New blowermotor (09)
Th 400 transmission with shift kit recently serviced (07)
New brake mastercylinder (09)
New radiator (09)
New starter (09)
New polyurethane sub frame/ body mounts (09)
Installed Ladder bars and sub frame connectors (09)
rear differential recently rebuilt with new seals and bearings and installed TA Specialties differential cover brace (09)
recent oil change (09)
had to replace the speedometer/odometer due to grinding noise and it would stop working (07).

The Bad:
there is rust starting around the rear window, in front of the rear wheel wells on both side , and the front passenger foot well has a rust hole 2 inches long by 1/2 inch wide.

What it needs:

needs new carpet, faded original (I have new correct colored carpet)
needs dash recovered (I have new cover and correct color dye)
interior plastics have some fading with chalking
need the correct speedometer gear , reads 10 mph faster than what you are traveling.

The following parts are included with the sale of the car:
New dash cover (black in color) $100
New carpet (tan in color) $110
Reburbished steering wheel (tan in color) $200
Tilt steering column (black in color) $180
The correct color dye to refurbish the interior plastics

Pontiac parts for sale
I am also selling all these parts as a package deal. I do not have the time to separate and sell the parts on a piece by piece basis. I am stationed at Ft Campbell Ky and I do not have the time to complete the 400 4 Speed conversion on my 1980 Trans Am . I will except the first offer over $6000.00 for all the parts listed here (dose not include 4speed conversion parts listed below).

Pontiac 400 with 98,000 miles rebuildable and may not need to be overbored $700
Rebuilt 6x cylinder heads $500
Exhaust headers $150
Pontiac 400 engine rebuild kit with forged pistons std bor (lost gasket set) $550
Forged connecting rods $300
Harland and Sharp gold roller rockers $300
Stock mech fuel pump $25
2 aluminum pontiac intake manifolds $175 each
Holley 850 cfm dbl pumper $550

2 Braided hose cover kits $100
Aluminum radiator for manual transmission car $350
2 High performance spark plug wire kits $80 each
New motor mounts $100
Stainless steel engine bolt kit $50

Chrome oil pan $150
2x100 amp chrome alternator $200 each
Stock starter $120
High torque aftermarket starter $250
Performance cam shaft $120
16 Gallon aluminum fuel cell $200

I also have a rebuilt T10 4speed with shifter, (2) Pontiac V8 aluminum bellhousings, Pontiac steel flywheel, floor hump sheet metal, clutch pedal assembly for a Firebird or Trans Am and a 4 speed center console for $1200.
SEND E-MAIL ADDRESS, AND I WILL SEND LARGE DETAILED PHOTOS

I have more than what i am asking for invested in the car and parts. I will accept best offer over $6000 for car and if you want the car and parts, both for $10500.00 (dose not include T10 4 speed , bell housing , flywheel, clutch pedal assy and 4 speed console. Will be sold separately for 1200.00). My name is William Ziegler and I can be reached at 270-874-7121 or I can be emailed at killed71@yahoo.com . I am stationed at Ft. Campbell Ky with the US army. I would be willing to trade for a newer 6 speed Z28 or Trans Am in similar condition. The car has a clear Maryland title and has historic tags. This is not a SCAM, I am a soldier in the US Army and with the current world situation I will not have the time to enjoy and work on the car. I would like to sell to a father and son or a family.

Wow! I wish I could buy this car, as this is almost exactly the project car my son and I are looking for! But, we just bought a new motor for the '99 ($$$) - and the old LS1 will be going into a second gen T/A (a yet to be found '78 to '81)

I need to find that money tree!

I'd love to, but just can't do it right now. If it doesn't sell in 6 months, shoot me a PM and we may be ready.
