They arm dropped in the elimanation rounds so R/T was not a factor.

I won the Street 16 class I loved it. I beat some much faster cars than mine. Turbo power Mustang in the finals I left him at the line and he dumped the clutch to catch up and smoked the tires(he was on street tires running 12.5's
@ 125+ all day).

First time in a heads up contest I had only done test and tunes up till Saturday.

Next mods are a cam, stall and build tranny. If the rear holds up.

Thats cool Iam hoping for 12s when the tracks open up in march..You should be in the 11.7-11.8s if the rear holds up and you hook.. Might be even faster..

The fastest I want this car is 11.5xx. I will not cage it at all so that is all I am allowed if I want to run at an NHRA track. I think I will be satisfied with that.

Thats cool ,I now my buddy had a LS1 Z28 going 6.99-7.0s in the 1/8th and it says anything faster then a 7.35 it had to be caged. He never put a cage in it.He ran it at NHRA and IHRA tracks every other weekend. He keeped telling the tracks that it was a Street/Daily Driver car. It wasnt a race car..

Thanks. I am not a fan of snow that us why I live in Florida. I have a bunch of family in Indiana. No thanks on the cold.

A few years ago they changed the rules from 11.99 for a roll bar to 11.49. I heard it said that was due to the fact that so many cars were running in the 11's right off the showroom floor. Now, with cars like the ZR1, who knows, they might change the rules again.

Congrats on winning the 12 second class. I know a Mustang won both the Quick 6 (would have been 8, but there just weren't that many cars running that fast and it would have pulled cars out of the 11 second class) and the 11 second class.

Thanks. And I think a GTO won the powder puff class.

I hope they do but for now I am shooting for 11.5xx. If they change the I wil have a new goal.
