Default In the 12's... NEED ADVICE FOR THE DRAGSTRIP.

2002 A4 Camaro Z28 with LT's, ORY, Catback (Magnaflow), 3.73's, & a dyno tune (325rwhp & 350ft/lb)... Owner said it ran a 12.36 @ 113 (I believe it was 113mph) with DR's... What do you think it would run with 275 street tires.? Also, What RPM should i launch at, etc... Pretty much any advice you can give so I can get a good launch & a good ET. Thanks.

I do not see that time bring possible with out a stall at that HP and those mods.

With that said launch you gave to try different RPMs till you find the sweet spot.

Street tires maybe a 13.3. Good luck.

I ran times in sig. So with higher gears, DRs and a dyno tune with a nice DA seems possible. Most likely that time was from last fall, cold dry air. i doubt it would run that in the middle of the season.

PS- i launch from 1k. you'll prolly still spin if u try to launch from idle and flash the verter. and any higher than 1k i havent found helps. try different psi settings.

I think it will def dip down in the 12's if you can get a decent 60ft, as long as the weather is good and its not too humid

Street tires and a stock stall, I think with practice you'll make your goal. I don't believe that your first pass is going to be the one. It also depends on what track your going to. 75-80, Capitol, Mason Dixon, Cecil, MIR. Some tracks are faster than others as we all know. Either way, good luck and keep us updated.

I have every mod you have except the gears, still got the 2.73sand no tune. The best I could get was a 13.3@106.7 with a 2.05 60'. This is with DR's and Launching at 1k, which didn't really do much actually. Simply flooring it when the light turns green will get you pretty close to your fastest time, although I'm not sure how much those 3.73s really spin you.

Mid 13's is about average for a stock LS1 A4 . I think you can knock out a high 12 if you get traction and have decent air . I have a 98 Z A4 with a Maganaflow ,SLP lid and 373s . I only got 1 pass and went 13.1 @106mph. You also have LT's and an ORY ,so you should have more power than me .But I also had nitto D/Rs on my ride .

Yeah man. I think it could run a high 12, even with street tires. With DR's i'm hoping for a 12.5... Should i do my first run with DR's or Street tires?

If your car traps 113 on average, on a fresh set of street tires it SHOULD run 12.7-12.9 with a 2.0ish 60'

My car went 11.1 on 245 street tires
