Default Bummed.. 12.78@116

Car put down 436/396. Since then I have just added a LS1 lid and 3.73 gears. Running Nitto 555r's. First pass was at 35 psi cause I forgot to let out pressure. Put a total of 6 runs in.. 1252 DA.

12.78@116.41 2.14 60'

12.88@116.38 2.06 60'

12.99@116.69 2.09 60'

13.27@116.09 2.28 60'

13.30@116.08 2.24 60'

13.69@99 2.25 60'

I don't like to make excuses but the track kept going to ****. My last run I went sideways going into 4th and just put the brakes on. My heart was set on a 11.99 or a 120 mph trap and I'm far from both. I guess I'm going to start taking care of the suspension since I modded backwards. I'm still amazed at these guys with bolt ons and 400rwhp running low 12s and high 11s.

I was running 17" nitto 555r's at about 18psi.. first run was 35psi cause I forgot to let the air out. I'm just concern about the trap speed. Does it not seem a little low for the mods/hp? The only thing for weight removed is HVAC deleted/no spare or jack.

Your mph will increase if you can hook on the starting line. Get that 60' down around 1.7-1.8 and you'll see high 11s at around 120.

With that power you should be going with bias ply tires with an m6. Adjustable LCA's, Subframe connectors should help out also...

I am in the same boat. My 60s suck.

I put on a line lock and went back. Ran high 12s@117 all day. My last run I took the 555rs down to 18psi and pulled a 12.5@115 2.0 60' still spinning bad. Got a lot of wheel hop and was expecting a 13.0 slip. Check engine light came on so I didn't run anymore. Time for suspension, suspension and more suspension. 11 second slips don't come easy like I was expecting with 440rwhp. A lot of respect to the 11 second guys.

Keep at it and you'll get in the 11s. After you figure it out racing becomes fun instead of frustrating. I was stuck in the 12s until I figured out the launch and its been all 11 sec slips since then.
