First Time out this Season= PB 12.79 @108
Hey guys,
Like the title says it was the first time I've been able to get out to the track this season since it opened on the 3rd of March. It was a perfect 70 degree day and the track was well preped. I was only able to run twice but my first past was the best.
For my first run I did a solid burnout, kept the car in drive (not over drive), did a little stall, had zero spin off the start, with solid reaction time, which resulted in the 12.79.
My second run didn't go so well. I did the same burnout but decided to try to the start in 1st just for ***** and giggles. Ended up screwing the start because I didn't have the break down hard enough during the stall, rolled forward a little on the start, and spun pretty bad . Ran a 13.02 I think.
Oh well. Still overall I'm pleased with the results. Hoping to get some 15x8 prostars with 26" drag radials here in the next few weeks.
Unfortunately I have no vid but here's a time slip and pic

Congrats!
60' could use some work though I was expecting a little more with the 3:73's. Mph seems a little low as well, what was the DA?
Regardless good job on the new PB. I'm your time will drop with some more passes.

That explains it though. Street tires and stock stall are holding you back a lot for sure. Get some DR's and maybe a 3600 stall and you will be moving pretty well.
