You may need to go up on the tire psi. I've slowed down before with drag radials because they dead hooked. You do want a little wheel spin because dead hooking is taking power away.

I think you're spot on. I launched it last weekend on some nice concrete and it spun a little but got out of the hole better than it ever has. Felt a lot better than a mid 1.8 60'.

Well went to Byron yesterday for their last weekend. Since my last time out I added a Chris1313 A/C ram air and Powerbond/SLP U/D pulley. I was on a 15" M/T drag radial with 15x10 street lites. My first pass was my best pass. The car went 12.46 @ 108.9 with a 1.77 60'. Car is still full weight with no suspension at all and 2.73 gears. I was very happy with that since 12.4 bolt on was my goal. I wanted to be as fast as my 5th gen with virtually the same mods. With shocks, TQ arm, a little bit of weight reduction, 3.73 gears and maybe front skinnies there is no doubt in my mind I could get into the 11's with just bolt-on's.
