First 12 second pass for the Z Took my '02 Z28 to Virginia Motorsports Park on Saturday to see what it would run after adding long tube headers and having it dyno tuned.
My set-up is as follows:
SLP lid and bellows, Bo White ported throttle body, AIR delete, NGK
plugs, MSD plug wires
S60 with 3.73 gears and relocation brackets, UMI lower control arms
ARH long tubes with catted y-pipe, SLP Loud Mouth II cat-back
Dyno Tuned by Frost at EFI Performance in Richmond, VA
Front wheels - 17" x 4.5 " Race Stars w/ M & H radial skinnies
Rear Wheels - 16" x 8" stock Firebird wheels with MT ET Street Radials
255/50/16
Full weight car with UMI subframe connectors and 230 lbs. driver
60 ft. - 1.891
1/4 mile time: 12.627
MPH - 109.85
Temp was around 60 degrees with density altitude of 224 ft.
I thought it was a reasonably good time for the mods and weight, I have a
UMI tunnel-mount torque arm waiting to be put on, after that, a Yank SS3600 or 4000 stall is next on the agenda over the winter.
