No, I upped for the 1.7RR, but i think the springs are gone, I have noticed that she has been falling off hard after 5700rpm. I think I'll buy some new springs and see if that fixes it.

I thought you might notice the new times.

I bought some relocation brackets and some v-6 springs for the front. The three year old nitto's hooked like a champ. 1.70 60'. My K-member should be here next week.

Thanks for the help with the syspension , tips. Sixty foot made all the difference.

What did ya think about the the 12.6 at 109 put down by 96silverram on your post. Not to bad. Looks like we have a little compition.

Impressive..I'm glad to see some other REALLY good running LT1 6spds out there. I cant wait to get to the track. I need to order a clutch like yesterday.
Just been real busy lately. I've been driving the GTO lately and it sure is badass. The Z is coming out soon tho, I WANT THAT RECORD.
I've had my shiftlite set at 5800 all of last season. It seems to pull all the way up for me, although I do think I lost some spring pressure on my stockers. I also wish I was the same weight as you, I'm pushing more then 200lbs more than you...Power to weight is the key. I know they kinda did it in GM Hightech magazine, but it would be awesome if they had the top 10 fastest 6spd bolt on lt1's head off in a neutral track. ATCO! I think we'd see some crazy times. I'd go all out if we could make that happen. I'd be determined to go 11's @ 3250lb raceweigt with just bolt ons(including springs and rocker)

Hey Roadtrip120, what part of Texas are you from ? I'm in Dallas (now). I'm really hoping to go at least high 12.40's or very low 12.50's with decent air. If I can actually get some really good DA (like houston) I'm sure the car would go a number better than I expect. I'm curious how much you think you picked up from doing the 1.7 RR's. I had considered doing the 1.7's to pick up an easy 1 mph and 1 tenth, so I've heard !

95z6sp, your stuff is runnin strong !

Thanks Silver ram . I actually think 1.7 RR's and some good springs will net you closer to .2 and 2mph...That would put you out of the hunt for the SI record tho, but you could go for the bolt on record.

Congrats! My '94 didn't run 12.5's until I had ported (stock) heads and Comp XE 502 cam.

If you don't want to go all the way down to Houston, SAR is a good track. Probably won't have as favorable DA as HRP, but still a good track.

Where is SAR?

Update
I just ran again tonight, with 3300ft DA

1.79 60' (Horriable)

12.5 1/4mile
109.76 mph

Same time as two weeks ago but this time higher DA and almost a tenth higher 60'. I haven't figured out the new BMR adjustable torque arm yet.

Thanks for the comp.

Mattybz28-- No nitrous times yet, autozone clutch wont hold the hp from a stop..

ctsls6--I have every bolt-on, and then some.(Ls1 lid) . Not sure what you will run, alot comes into play, tires, 60' time, stall, gears, weight, altitude, density altitude.

I hate to quess, and be wrong. Get that mph higher and you will notice a drop in ET.
Good luck , later
