Default dissapointing 12's with spray...

well i was kinda delt a blow to my pride and got a realy shot of the world. i went to osw tonight and get 3 runs in. the prep was good, but the cold ground nulified it, so with an air lid, and 150 shot (low bottle pressure cuz no gauge) with stock everything else and the shittiest 245 16's a honda ever saw i ran:
1st
60' 2.111
1/4 12.8@113.2

2nd
60' 2.175
1/4 13.0@113.5

3rd

60' 2.103
1/4 12.7@113.7

dissapointing, but its a start. my mod list has changed a bit from tonight, with et streets and the top with some sfc, lcas and a rear sway bar, finished off with a nice fuddle stall to finish off the "go faster with the same power" mods

Get some tires. Then try again. Your 60's are all over the place. Nice job though with what you had to work with. Good luck.

Get some tires and maybe a pressure guage for your nitrous (worth the investment IMO) and I think that might make ya feel a little better.

I was there Fiday night, saw the car run, etc. Don't take this the wrong way, but you were asking for too much out of the nitrous kit. Like Mark said, you never made any motor passes that night to compare apples to apples.

Get a pressure guage, even if it's one mounted right on the bottle. And get some tires. Even with a stock TC, you should be pulling down low 1.9's spraying right out of the gate - maybe even a little faster.

Just curious... what jets did you run in it? Some call for 62/35, some call for 62/33. My car ran better w/ the latter.

um, let me think, i think they are the 57, and 32's that came wit hthe kit. i also know i have a dry nitrous tune on my car, which makes the a/f ratio like 11.8:1. im going to load the stock tune back on next week and i was going to run a motor pass, but lines were too long and i was hungry lol, i think i just need tires and seat time with a hotter bottle.

Not bad at all for the mph man..you picked up 11 mph with the kit so thats deffinatly a start. Just get some tires and stable bottle pressure with a gage. you should see 12.30's or so with that mph spraying outta the hole.

Good job. That track is tough. Get a cutout, they're like 40 bucks and with the same mods as you plus a cutout, subframes and a 125 shot I'm trapping 117 at the same track.
