You got a 1.83 60ft on street tires? That track must be sticky as hell, I couldn't get any better then a 1.93 60ft on nitto drag radials. That's with a 8-10 second burnout, pressure down to 16-17 psi. If I would try to launch harder it would just spin.

Don't floor nittos out of the hole, you'll spin. I've gotten a 2.3 60' time with the nittos until I figured out how to launch them right.

With all due respect your launching an auto. I have had both and know from personal experience there is a BIG difference between brake stalling off the line in an auto and the power abruptly shocking the tires with an m6...there is....quite frankly....NO comparison

Yes, you're right Brian, but you also haven't had a large stall converter either. Try a 4400 Yank and then tell me it doesn't shock the tires.

I am sure it hits harder than the TCI 3500 that was in my pewter car. It did have a pretty aggresive STR at 2.5 though. Point is that the drivetrain is still preloaded no matter how aggressive the stall may be, where it's not with a m6. BTW, he has a 3800

But I am not trying to argue, just comparing the 3800 stall to the m6

Yeah I know which is why I said that you have to becareful launching off the line with the nittos. If I got a 2.3 60' stalling it up and then flooring it out of the hole, it will be worse with an M6.

I got 1.94 60ft on street tires, the track was prepped for 8 second cars. They spray the track with something. I had no wheel spin and I flashed the TC with street tire pressure also!

I think it down to track prep!
