Default Almost made it, what else do I need to get there?

I almost made it, I ran 6 times tonight for the 1st time and the first was,

13.1772@105.65
2.04 60'

This was on an 4L60 with stock T/C, Nitto 555 Extremes, Mods are below.
My bro ran a 13.57@104.89 2.29 60'. This was with the ASR on too. It ran a consisntent 13.33 @ 104.5 on the other runs, overall I dont think it was bad at all considering my mods. What mods should I get next to break 12's?

Cut your 60' down and you will be there. Your traping enough MPH for a 12 sec pass. Or you could just go get a nice stall and be running 12.00. Either will work.

He needs a stall. I went from 13.6 to 13.3 with a Yank 3000 (feels like 2300) but traction was a big prob. With DRs I believe a high 12 is possible. Oh yeah, trap speeds went from 103.9 to 104.9.

Stall is holding you back.

Buddy cut more than .5 sec from his time with a Vig 3800 IIRC.

That will help your 60' a lot. I think he's hitting 1.70's at 106.

Was your car bogging off the line? or spinning? if you were spinning then i believe minus the driver error off the line you could get in the 12's. if you are bogging then there isnt much you can do about it besides take everyones advice and get a Torque converter. my friend was spinning bad off the line (2.4-2.5 60ft) running 14.2-14.5 with an lt1 m6 that was basically stock and it was because he was just hammering it right out of the hole, i talked to him about how he should take off and he got down to 2.1's . i told him to feather it out of the whole a bit and then got on it when he was a little higher in RPM. i know its different for ls1 cars and auto cars but the general idea isnt to hammer it out of the whole, with decent track prep at our local track i was able to get 1.97 60ft with my friends car, stock 245/50/16's. work on your 60ft play with your tire pressure, i beleive you can do it with the way the car sits.

Change to 555rs and get a stall and you'll be farther into the 12s than you'd think

if your in a budget get panhard rod and LCA w/ relocation brackets. Take off your front sway bar before you go to the track if you haven't already. It is a 10min job. It takes longer to jack it then taken it off. it will a lil weird driving, but that will help your 60ft. Then if you don't get there then different get 3200 converter.

You don't need a stall for 12's. My buddy is running stock manifolds, stock stall, stock gears & hit a 12.8 N/A w/ Nitto DR. Your 60' is killin you.
