Question 12.8 only with many mods...help!!!!

I just purchased a car not too long ago. Its a 2000 trans am ws6 m6. Has texas speed heads with bigger valves and 11.2 i think for compression. The cam is a 233 239 with about .6" lift. I have the ls6 intake on it, longtube headers, catless y-pipe and cutout. Maf is eliminated and running on map sensor(more flow). Throttle body coolant bypass and some other small mods.
Larger torque arm, rear control arms, spec III clutch.
This was dynoed by the repv owner to have 464 rwhp and like 430 trq.

It was about 85 degrees and pretty humid when i ran.

12.8 @113 mph 2.2 60ft.

My best was 2.1 60ft
Shouldnt my speed be about 120???? With that hp? Even with limited traction??
HELP

my old t/a with just long tubes, 224 cam, ls6 intake, lid and 3.73's and fast 78mm tb ran 11.87@120mph with 1.8 60's. So your waay off. 464rwhp??? should run low 11's easy if not better.
what are you shifting at? what gears do you have?

I have been shifting at 6500-6800 rpm range. I have stock 3.42 gears with regular 275 tires on it. Yea i was diappointed with the performance. It has been using some oil so i dont know what to think. Even on a hot day it should run better than that. Yea i have the stock 78mm tb i think its 78.

if its not ported its not 78mm i think its like 74mm stock but im not sure, im sure someone will chime in on that, but that wouldnt cause it to be that slow. Did you see the dyno graph of the 464rwhp? I would check the compression and fuel pressure maybe take a look at what the plugs look like? could be somthing small, but its was obviously not putting down 464rwhp when you raced it.

Unhappy

well i checked all the plugs tonight...for the first time man i need to speed it up took almost a few hrs...just takes getting used to.

Anyway all plugs looked fine...im still using massive amounts of oil.

I talked to the prev. owner he said possibly the pushrods were too long...not that that would cause oil consumption but they are stock prods with 20thousandths shaved heads...anyway is that ok?
And any ideas on the oil problem now? I am thinking its something in the valvetrain...like valve seals or rocker studs sucking oil...its evenly distributed.

CAM AND HEADS WERE ONLY PUT ON THIS SPRING
PLEASE HELP

Def. check those stock push rods and get them changed to asap. Could be your power problem right there if you bent any of them and shifting at 65-6800 there in grave danger. Does the car have converters on it? Could be clogging if so but i would think you would notice the power loss and the smell. The oil problem could be that the vavle seals were not properly seated when installed, Does it white smoke out the exhaust any ever? I'm running out of ideas here.... If everything was installed and then the car dynoed 464rwhp somthing had to go bad wrong between then and Now IMO.
