Default How did you get your LT1 into the 12's?

What mods did you do? What converter/ gear combo?

LT's, 2800-3200 stall, DR's, CAI and you should be there...

You sure? I have a 3200 , ET Streets, K&N CAI and only run 14.00's That's with a 2.73 rear gear which should only net me abut 2-3 tenths if I swap it out to a 3.42 or 3.73. LT's would net me over a second?

Remove the LT1 and replace with LS1!

J/K..........ask 2fast4lv! He has ran consistant mid 11's on his LT1 (n/a) and just went 10.32 with some nitrous. I'd send him a PM or something. He works on all our cars around here. Great mechanic and very knowledgable.

He is a good guy and will be very helpful. He knows his ****!

with what i have im runnin mid 13's with 5800 ft of altitude and a density altitude of over 7500ft at the last session

i did it with a super charger,lts,duel force clutch,drs and 42lbs injecters (only 6lbs of boost)im in no hurry to blow my car up.

Stock was 14.0 for me.

Several upgrades but no time for the track. With TD's, Stall, Intake, DR's, Tune. I went a 12.8. Add a 120 shot and I went 12.2

Push it.

Get rid of your LT1 they suck, just a SBC with reverse cooling. Its garbage.

This little 350 SBC with reverse cooling is killing the LS1's around here. And it's got no problems hanging with the LS6 Corvettes...

You might be able to knock off about .2, Drag Radials won't take off enough to put you in the 12's.

Most of the mods you have listed are not the kind that are going to net some improvements in ET's, with exception of the exhaust work. A 13.8 still seems slow with the mods you have. A set of good DR's , 4.10's , good weather and the driver mod and you would probably see 12's!

I'm also running on Falken 451's with nearly 40 lbs of air, so that could be why I'm slow, too... I even get extremely squirelly going into 2nd gear.

Ouch man, something must be up with your car for it to be running that slow, have you ever weighed your car? You should be at least mid-low 13, maybe you just need practice?

14.40's stock, then 14.00's with a K&N and 3200 converter. Now after adding 4.10's it runs 13.90's. What else to do? LT's gonna drop another whole second?
